You've got the turkey and mashed potatoes recipe down, but don't forget the drinks! To try something new, we're sharing a recipe for a Michigan Sunset Cocktail from The Forager Chef's Club, a novel by Rita Mace Walston @ritamacewalston
Ingredients
2 oz. bourbon (Traverse City Distillery)
.5 oz. ginger liquer (Domaine de Canton)
.5 oz. Cointreau
4-6 dashes of aromatic bitters (Iron Fish Distillery)
Ice
Juice of one lemon wedge
Directions
Smoke the bourbon either in a shallow tray in a food smoker or with a cocktail smoker. Add all ingredients except the lemon juice to a cocktail shaker. Shake well. Pour into a glass, add the lemon juice, and serve.
